Ingeborg Stana is a contemporary Norwegian artist and a Professor in Visual Arts at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. As a painter Ingeborg Stana maintains a long and unbroken tradition within Norwegian art: The Nordic Landscape. Although Stana’s chosen method is traditional, she has found a way to reinvent landscape painting and regain its position in the context of art history. Ingeborg Stana works mainly with paintings but through the recent years she has been transmitted the theme to both short films and printmaking. Selected works of her art can be seen at Buer Gallery or in the artist's studio in Oslo. Contact Tonje Buer for an appointment E-mail: tonje@buergallery.no / Phone +47 93676798. In her professorship she is working across varied media, while fundamentally focusing upon the attributes embedded in creativity, drawing and painting practices. Ingeborg lives and work in Oslo, Norway. For more information about her academic work please have a look at the website CRISTIN  (Current Research Information System In Norway)
