As classrooms go digital, what happens to learning?

Is digitalisation really better for learning — or is that a question that remains unanswered?  Do we really remember better when we write by hand? Does typing lead to duller texts? And is the debate about digitalisation in schools actually settled?

In this episode, Ingeborg Stana makes the case for analogue writing. She is a professor of visual arts at the Institute of Aesthetic Studies at OsloMet, a practising artist, and the author of academic articles, textbooks and course literature on creativity — with many years of experience teaching drawing at both secondary and higher education level.
